As we dive into this month, I’m thrilled to share the titles on my TBR list. From time travel adventures to haunted retreats, my February reads promise to keep me on the edge of my seat. Let’s dive right in!
First up, I’ve just finished What Happens in Montana by Kim McCollum. This is a gripping tale of friendship, betrayal, and ghosts! Set at a holistic hot springs retreat in the mountains, a group of friends is forced to confront long-held secrets while dealing with a poltergeist and the eerie mystery of a murder that happened over 100 years ago. With a strong mix of humor and suspense, this one’s definitely a must-read for anyone who enjoys a good supernatural mystery.
Next, I’m reading A Discovery of Time and Space (The Perils of Tiffani) by Lesley L. Smith.
This sci-fi adventure follows Tiffani Taylor, a seemingly ordinary college student who discovers that she might just be able to travel through time and space. But with this newfound ability come some big questions: Who is she really, and how far can she go? This is one for fans of time travel, unexpected twists, and mind-bending possibilities. I can’t wait to see where Tiffani’s journey takes me!
On to A Measure of Rhyme: Ages of Malice, Book 2 by Lloyd Jeffries.
In this explosive continuation of the Ages of Malice series, Rhyme Carter is married to the Antichrist but in love with another man. As the world inches closer to the apocalypse, Rhyme must fight to save both her life and the man she loves. With high stakes, betrayal, and an intense race against time, this book is filled with twists that will keep you guessing until the very end. I’m excited to dive deeper into this dark and thrilling saga.
Lastly, I’m hoping to read an ARC of The Sun Also Rises on Cthulhu by Jorah Kai and Ernest Hemingway,
A bold mash-up of Hemingway’s classic and Lovecraft’s cosmic horror. In this reimagining, Jack Schitt and his friends navigate the disillusionment of post-war Europe while facing the terrifying, mind-shattering horror of an ancient evil trying to unravel reality. This one’s not out yet, but it’s available for preorder! I’m excited to dive into this eerie blend of existentialism and cosmic dread.
