Most of you know me as a fantasy author—writing about dragons, quests, and the timeless struggle between light and darkness. But what you might not know is that I’ve also ghostwritten a dozen Historical Western Romances over the years. And I enjoyed it so much that I finally asked myself: why not write them for myself?

That question has led me to my newest adventure: a Christian Historical Western Romance series.

These stories are sweet and wholesome, celebrating faith, love, and the courage of pioneers on the American frontier. Prayer, perseverance, and God’s grace are woven into the fabric of each book, offering not just romance, but encouragement and hope for today’s readers.

At first, I considered publishing these books under the pen name Maggie Cronin—to honor my great-great-grandmother who lived during that era. But after much encouragement from fellow authors, I’ve decided to release them under my own name. The qualities my readers value in my fantasy—clean storytelling, heartfelt characters, and uplifting themes—are the same qualities you’ll find in these romances.

Book One is finished, still needs to be beta read, edited, and all that. Book Two is already underway, and yes—I’m still working on Book Four of the Dragon’s Oath series as well. I can’t wait to share more about these frontier love stories, including cover reveals and sneak peeks. It will be a little while, but I just had to share.
